Anzac weekend in Dromana

For the long weekend to celebrate Anzac Day, we went down to Andrea's family holiday house in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula. It is only about an hour away and very lovely!! We had a nice relaxing weekend!!

The view from the holiday house - the beach is right across the road.

Andrea's grampa took us out fishing on Saturday... turns out I get seasick in small vessels!! I went for a swim after I jumped out of the boat.

We went for a hike up to Arthur's Seat on Sunday - Andrea, her husband Paul, her mother Denise, her neice Sarah and her uncle Stephen (Chris and I as well)

the Anzac monument in Melbourne (we had wandered around it a week before to learn about the Aussie role in WWII)
